Dr. Kwon graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York University and earned his DDS from NYU College of Dentistry. During dental school, he received the Outstanding Achievement in Operative Dentistry award from the Academy of Operative Dentistry. In 2023, he completed a Master’s degree in Dental Implantology and Advanced Surgical Extractions at the University of Camillus in Rome, Italy.
In addition to serving the Stamford community, Dr. Kwon lectures and serves as a part-time faculty member at the Gangnam International Implant Academy (GIIA), providing hands-on training in dental implant surgery and wisdom teeth extractions. He participates in live surgery seminars held ten times a year in Tijuana, MexicoOutside the office, Dr. Kwon continues to study the latest dental technologies and enjoys playing soccer with Dr. Park. The two have been teammates since 2013 and can often be found competing in evening leagues at Chelsea Piers in Stamford.
